On Tuesday there was a picture of Scott and Avery in the LA times in the article "Malibu's Celebrity Surf and Turf War" we didn't hear about it until Wednesday when all the Tuesday papers were gone:(  Does anyone get the LA times and happen to have the paper from Tuesday?  Also you need to check out my friend Katie's blog  and see Avery and Dylan on their first date.....so cute. 

I said I would update and once again I am behind so here are some pics from May that I never put up.  It was a fun and busy month. We had family in town for Scott's graduation, we went to an awesome Mason Jennings concert,  we moved (and are enjoying walks in our new town Topanga), Avery is pulling herself up on everything and eating baby food like a champ, her hair is finally growing longer (as you can see I got a little too excited that she can finally wear bows) and Scott is super busy studying for the Monster Law bar.  Well that's all for now.....

It has been forever....we moved about a month ago and didn't have internet for the first few weeks....then I felt so behind in the blogging world that I didn't know where to begin....but the greatest thing that has happened since I last posted is....Scott graduated from Law School!

Isn't that fantastic!  I am so proud of Scott and all of the hard work  he has put in these last 3 years.  It has been an adventure but a wonderful one:)

This is my adorable friend Katherine.  Katherine, her husband Jay and baby James are very good friends of ours here at Pepperdine.  She and I were pregnant together and had our babies 10 days apart.  She is a wonderful mom and a beautiful person inside and out.  On Monday Katherine had an emergency brain surgery and is in need of prayers for a miracle recovery. They have prayer lists going around the country and I invite you to join in:) To get updated info on Katherine visit here.  There is also a facebook group: praying for Katherine Wolf that is frequently updated.  We love you Katherine!! 

My sister Dani is an engaged woman as of Monday night:) 

We are excited for Matthew to join the family and can't wait for the party on August 16th! Dani is amazing. She is going to make a wonderful wife and a beautiful bride. Best wishes for your future together. We love you two:)

Avery is such a joy.

I love seeing her sweet face every morning.

So I haven't posted for a while.  You see our brand new camera is now broken:(  Sad sad sad. We went to a clippers game a few weekends ago and asked the security guard to take a picture of us and she dropped our camera.  Boohoo.  I figured out how to get the pics off of our card and so here is a collage of what has been happening.....

Matt took Scott up flying in a teeny little plane over Downtown and Dodgers' stadium (Scott even got to fly a little bit),  Whitney and I went to the Grove and Avery decided to ruin the only outfit I had with me so we had to stroll her around in her diaper until we found Baby Gap.  Avery's boyfriend James Wolf came over to play and was fascinated with Ave's cheeks. We went to St. George last weekend for a family reunion and to visit Scott's fam.  It was very fun although we have no photos of our time there:( Scott only has 5 weeks until he is a law school grad.  Crazy how time flies~~<>~~

Last week was Scott's spring break so we headed to Hawaii. We went over with our friends the Christensens who also have a little baby.  We stayed in Laie and got to hang with my brother Chris and my cousin Matt that live over there.  The water was a perfect temperature and the weather was beautiful.  Scott got to surf at a bunch of spots he has been dying to surf at and I even got to surf one of the days.  Avery did fantastic on the plane and loved the water after she got used to it:)  We had such a fun trip.  Now it's back to normal life:(

We didn't have a green outfit to put little mini in today so....I put her in this pea pod costume.  I am not sure how she felt about it.  She just kept sticking her tongue out and trying to eat it:) :) We just got home last night from a wonderful week in Hawaii I will post some pics later!

DODGE BALL FRIDAY

Scott's favorite day of the Law School year just passed:( Dodge ball Friday!  Avery and I went to cheer him on.  I made her this shirt to bring Scott some good luck.  

It worked because their team won the tournament for the 2nd year in a row.  (Their first year they got 2nd place.)

Four Months Young

Our little pumpkin turned 4 months this week!  As you can see she is just as surprised as we are.....

To celebrate her 4 month Bday we have been taking her to the beach all week:) The weather has been so beautiful here:)  We don't have a beach umbrella yet so we have to make our own little tent for her out of blankets. 
Turning 4 months has brought forth some new changes.  She rolled over for the 1st time, her legs have gotten super strong and
she is just loving her toys.  I hooked up this little toy bar to her Bumbo and she is having the time of her life with it.
She has also become a champ at tummy time:)   
Although it is fun to see her doing new things, it is kind of sad too see her grow up so fast. These last few months have been the best ever:)  We are so lucky to have our little Avery girl.

Like many girls I enjoyed playing school when I was little.  Avery has just started playing and she is loving it.  Except instead of playing elementary school she likes to play law school.  She teaches the class the material......

Gives her personal opinion on the subject.......

Then gets a little nervous when she doesn't know all the answers to the kids questions.........

OK she is a bit too young to know what she is playing but we have fun messing with her anyway:)

Scott went to Arizona for the J. Reuben Clark law conference this weekend and Avery and I had an all girl weekend.  It was fun hanging out with some of my girlfriends and Rachel came up to hangout too(Ric and Macady were in Utah).  When Scott got home we went down to the beach and Ray took some family pics for us.  Avery fell asleep in the car on the way there so she was very sleepy.... 

We went down to the pier in Malibu.  It was such a beautiful day but quite cold......

Rachel got a lot of fun shots but this is the only family one where Avery doesn't look half asleep:)

We had  a baby shower for Becca last week that was a lot of fun.  She is such a good mommy to little baby Gwen:) 

Avery came with me to the shower and had so much fun getting so much attention from everyone there.

Scott and two of his friends Ethan and Jonothan, just joined the Malibu Rugby team.  Their first game was this past weekend.  Avery, Annie(Ethan's fiance) and I had a blast watching them play.  For some reason I could not stop laughing when Scott got the ball.  I am not sure if it was because he was tackling guys 3 times his size (which looked hilarious) or a nervous laugh since I was afraid he might get hurt (he has never played rugby before). Here is Ethan explaining the rules before the game started...... 

The guys all ended up playing great, their team won, Scott didn't get a black eye and he even made 3 goals.  His poor friend Ethan busted his lip open and had to get stitches :(  

I think the real reason Scott decided to play rugby wasn't to tackle guys and get his energy out but to wear this awesome uniform.........

Gwen and Avery finally met!  Our good friends Becca and Ryan recently had their lovely little lady.  She is so sweet and teeny.  

I think her and Avery really loved being introduced they were even holding hands.   

Even though it was pouring here this weekend we had a lot of fun! I am finally able to drive again (after 3 long months) so Avery and I went to visit my friends at my old job. It was great to see everyone. It stopped raining for a couple hours on Saturday so we headed to Zuma. The waves were huge and they busted Scott's brand new board in half:( It was sad....On Sunday we drove down to my parents house and suprised Hayley for her 8th bday. Avery loved seeing all of her little cousins. We had a blast! Avery is now 3 months old, where does the time go?

This weekend was beautiful here in Malibu. We decided it was a great opportunity for Avery to get some sunshine. We took her to the track......

I do think she was very proud of her new tan though! :)

So........like most of you I haven't blogged forever. We have been all over the place! We are finally back home now and exctied to get back into the swing of things. The holidays were fantastic and we just loved seeing all of our family and friends. We blessed Avery right before the new year and she was just adorable. Here are some photos that Rachel took of her in her cute little dress. I will post some of our holiday pics later.......Happy 2008!
