This is my adorable friend Katherine. Katherine, her husband Jay and baby James are very good friends of ours here at Pepperdine. She and I were pregnant together and had our babies 10 days apart. She is a wonderful mom and a beautiful person inside and out. On Monday Katherine had an emergency brain surgery and is in need of prayers for a miracle recovery. Ryan has two classes with Jay and he told me about her. We are remembering them too. It is so sad. And perfect timing too.
