Posted by PicasaLast weekend we attended a huge Gardner reunion in St. George.  There were 1,000 Gardners there.  My great(x4) Grandfather Robert Gardner helped settle St. George and was the first mayor and bishop there.  In his honor they put a huge statue of him in the city center.  Elder Holland (who is a Gardner) dedicated and unveiled the statue.  It was really awesome! We had a blast visiting with relatives we hadn't seen forever and we also got to visit the McDonald fam.  It was a great weekend.

I heard that talk about Robert
Gardner and thought of your family. How fun to have such a history. I also have a soft spot for Elder HOLLAND so you're lucky to have him in the family =)
