Weekend Adventures
A few weekends ago we visited the pirate ships in downtown San Diego. Avery was frightened of the pirate until he called her a princess and gave her a red ruby:)
The next weekend we visited Balboa fun island in Newport. We did all of things I liked to do as a kid. We took the ferry, rode the ferris wheel and had a sprinkle dipped balboa bar:) Yum!

I think a healthy amount of skepticism is a good thing when it comes to pirates. Especially when they start calling you princess and offering up jewels.
